वनदेवी महाधाम माँ वनदेवी का एक ऐतिहासिक मंदिर है जिसकी ख्याति दूर दूर तक फैली है। माना जाता है कि रामायण काल ​​से ही सम्पूर्ण जगत की जगतजननी, आदिशक्ति, माँ सीता, वनदेवी के रूप में अपने सभी 64 योगिनियों के साथ यहाँ पूर्ण रूप से निवास कर रही हैं। कहते हैं पहले यह स्थान घने जंगलों से घिरा हुआ था और यहाँ भूगर्भ में 'नागलोक' है जिसकी अधिष्ठात्री देवी माँ मनसा देवी स्वयं माँ वनदेवी की सेवा और संरक्षण में अपनी पूरी शक्ति के साथ निवास करती हैं। यहां तक ​​​​कि महाबली भगवान हनुमान भी यहां व्यक्तिगत रूप से निवास करते हैं और जो भी भक्त श्रध्दा से यहाँ आता है उनपर उनकी विशेष कृपा दृष्टि रहती है। स्थानीय किंवदंतियो के अनुसार इस मंदिर के भूगर्भ में दुर्लभ और बहुमूल्य हीरे, मोती, जवाहारत, माणिक्य तथा अन्य रत्नों एवं दुर्लभ धातुओं का भंडार छुपा भरा पड़ा है जिसका संरक्षण स्वयं तक्षक और शेषनाग जैसे नाग देवता करते हैं। इतने सारे देवी-देवताओं की उपस्थिति के कारण माँ वन देवी मंदिर को महाधाम माना जाता है, जिसके गर्भ में प्रकृति के गूढ़ रहस्य छिपे हैं। यह मंदिर वन देवी के साथ-साथ कनखा माई मंदिर के नाम से भी मशहूर है। भक्तों की मान्यता है कि इस मंदिर में आकर पूर्ण श्रद्धा और सच्चे मन से मां की पूजन-अर्चना करने वाले हर भक्त की मनोवांछित मुराद जरूर पूरी होती है।

This temple is auspicious in the form of 'mother goddess', 'Adishakti', who is suppose to dwell here with all her 64 yoginis, the progenitor and benefactor of all life forms on this earth. Mother Sita is supposed to have lived here in the form of Maan Vandevi from Ramayana period. During those times, this place was full of thick forests and is supposed to be graced with 'Naglok' (Serpent god's abode). Maan Mansa devi, the invocator goddess of Serpents, is supposed to dwell here with all her might, in the service and protection of Maan Vanadevi. Even Lord Hanuman, the protector and saviour god, is supposed to dwell here in person, who keeps an eye on all the visitors. This place is also supposed to be full of different kinds of precious wealth, priceless stones, metals, pearls etc. being protected by serpent Gods like Takshak, Sheshnag and others. With the presence of so many gods and goddesses, this temple is supposed to be a Mahadham, within which a number of nature's secret is supposed to be hidden.
