Kailash Dham (Shiv Mandir, Dihri, Bihta)

शिव मंदिर, डिहरी गांव, बिहटा (पटना के पास) की ऐतिहासिकता रामायण और महाभारत युग की मानी जाती है। स्थानीय मान्यताओं के अनुसार, इस मंदिर की स्थापना भगवान श्रीराम ने की थी, जब वह गया (पटना के निकट एक शहर) में पिंडदान (एक हिंदू सांस्कृतिक अनुष्ठान,जिसमें दिवंगत आत्माओं और पितरों के नाम से दान किया जाता है और ब्राह्मणों को भोजन करवाया जाता है जिससे पितरों को मोक्ष की प्राप्ति होती है) के लिए जा रहे थे।

ऐसा कहा जाता है कि डिहरी गांव का प्राचीन नाम देवहरी (भगवान कृष्ण/ विष्णु) था, जो राजा विराट के राज्य का एक हिस्सा था। माना जाता है कि इस स्थान पर पांडवों ने महाभारत काल में एकांतवास के दौरान शरण ली थी।

यह मंदिर समय के साथ विलुप्त हो गया था, पर सन 2020 में घर बनाने के लिए की गयी खुदाई के दौरान इस स्थान पर दो शिव-लिंग मिले, जिनकी सन 2021 में इसी स्थान पर बने एक नए मंदिर में प्राण प्रतिष्ठा की गई। इस मंदिर का नाम कैलाश-धाम (भगवान शिव का निवास) रखा गया है।

आम लोगो का कहना है कि इस मंदिर में पूजा-अर्चना करने के बाद उनकी मनोकामनाएं पूरी हुई हैं।

The antiquity of Shiv temple at Dihri Village, Bihta (near Patna) goes back to Ramayana and Mahabharata era. According to the local beliefs, this temple was founded by Lord Rama, when he was going to Gaya (a city near Patna) to offer Pind Daan (a hindu cultural ritual performed during Pitri Paksha to bring peace and salvation to the departed souls of their ancestors and other relatives).

It is said that the old name of the village Dihri was Devhari (God Krishna/Vishnu), which was a part of the King Virat's kingdom. At this place, Pandavas were supposed to have taken shelter during agyatvas (incognito living) during the Mahabharata period.

This temple was however lost during course of time. Only in 2020, during excavation to build a house, two shiva-lingas were found at this place, which have been placed inside a newly built temple in 2021 at the site. This temple has been named as Kailash-dham (the abode of God Shiva).

A number of people have claimed that after praying at this temple, their wishes have been fulfilled.
